Nasa’s Juno is actually doing a pretty good job out there. Juno was sent to the orbit of Jupiter last year July to learn about Jupiter and other planet’s impact on Solar System.
The first close images has already been received by NASA and these images are stunning. Planetary Space Physicist ‘Fran Bagenal’ said they were in great excitement and happiness when they received the first images. Juno’s camera was able to get images of tall, white storm clouds above the planet as well as flashes of lightning that illuminate the sky.
Jupiter is described as an enormous gas giant made from hydrogen and helium. All of the other planets, asteroids and comets would fit within Jupiter. It is 11 times wider than Earth. Well this time lapse video might make a new impression about Jupiter in all our minds.
