Popsicles Made From Polluted Water Is Grabbing Too Much Attention

Popsicle is a water-based frozen snack. It is also referred to as a freezer pop, ice lolly, ice block, icy pole, or chihiro. It is made by freezing flavored liquid around a stick.

Kids and even grownups like popsicles because of its attractive color and taste. Popsicles are made from hygienic water and less added chemical colors. Because the sellers don’t the customers to be ill. Well in Taiwan things are different.

After seeing this popsicle, you might think that its no color added organic ones. But these are not. They are made, i mean literally made from sewage water in Taiwan. Don’t worry. These popsicles are not for sale. Its a part of project. This popsicle was made by 3 students for Polluted Water Popsicles project which aims to raise awareness about increasing water pollution. Hung I-chen, Guo Yi-hui, and Cheng Yu-ti from the National Taiwan University of Arts created them using transparent polyester resin by taking water from 100 different sources.
